The Little Things of Science

Even though science might have been forced on you but there always comes a time when you are quite impressed by the idea of science.
And for the admirers of science, there’s got to be a moment when it actually made you proud to study something so sensitive and beautiful.

Here, Dhruv randomly walks into a room where his friend’s work on holographic projection is on display. He goes inside. And allows the grandeur of the projections to settle in. We see Dhruv transit from being a part of a curious crowd to acknowledging the sense of surprise and finally accepting the beauty of the concept and admiring it.
That’s exactly what happens to people who study some discipline of science.

You may be aware of your area, master it, and be extremely good at it.
But that exact moment science smirks and throws a piece of awe your way and
like an eight-year old’s first circus you stand there mesmerized by the crazy hypothesis doing somersaults,
theories swiftly moving from one arena to the other like those Russian acrobats do with the rope,
hanging in the midway between your reality and their fate.

As if there might not have been something more satisfying, more beautiful, more everything in every way.
For that little second, you forget your science and accomplishment and take in the new energies that it has been radiating.

On a personal note that’s how I feel every day in our module. Discovering something quite mundane for the professors but pretty new & different for me. We study the Earth here, its past, its present, its future.
It surely has been quite an exhilarating experience to date, which has driven me to enjoy every bit of science that I come across.

I hope you start experiencing science around.
